Through his experiences in the Air Force (retired Senior Master Sergeant), and the Vietnam War, Billy "Reb" Richardson developed leadership, a strong character, reliability, and a love for his country. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, an Associate Degree in Business Administration, and an Associate Degree in Aircraft Power Plant Management.  Further, as a small working business owner, teacher, and active citizen, Reb Richardson has been a prominent citizen for 37 years in the area, and has a passion to see it improve. 

Reb decided to get into politics to make positive changes, create jobs, improve education, and reduce crime. Working as a small businessman in Sumter County, he has had to work with the bureaucracy. Reb has shown the abilities to find and systematically work through those difficulties to attain a viable solution.

He is a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), American Legion, American Veteran (AMVETS), Midlands Retired Military Association (MRMA), and ABATE of South Carolina.

Reb enjoys interacting with people in his area, working toward change, and improving the area he calls home. He has a daughter, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
